Maybe I can get some help here. I have a 1943d steel penny which I believe is a strong ms65.it has the double d in the date. It also has a strong double 4 which sits a little lower and to the right. It is a high grade coin so the doubling can be seen by the naked eye. Anyone have a past experience with this or is it unique. I have found no information on this error. Truly could be a very rare strike. Thank you

When you post photos, please add one of the edge, to help detect any replating.

Thanks, Jim

Sounds to me like one of those very common cases of die wear that causes a shadow doubling on the outside edge of the 4 of the date and the mintmark. If this is so, no premium value, and they are quite common. Also, they are not errors.
