It looks like a great set with no milky spots on the dollar, both coins should be pr67 or better.

Looks like they could easily be Proof-69 or -70, not unusual grades for most modern commemoratives. Nice pieces!

I graded it as well worth being in my safe. Very nice coins, nice pictures. Thank you for posting it.

Let me qualify my grading experience. I have been reading the ANA Grading Standards for US coins for about 2 weeks. It has ZERO information on modern commemorative coinage. So to say I am a novice grader would be a vast overstatement of my level of expertise.

My opinion would be PF68 or PF69 due to some distracting marks in key areas and light marks in the mirrored Proof fields. Also what appears to be a few small abrasions and some handling marks. I highly doubt a grade of PF70 from PCGS, ANACS or NGC. PF70 is reserved for a "perfect coin". My opinion is worth exactly what you paid for it ZERO.

Nice coins! The coins should be at a min PR-67 and in all likelihood probably a PR-69 or 70.

I recently asked a dealer how he can tell the marks on the coin from the ones on the plastic.

He pointed out that if you hold the coin and holder just right you will be able to see the shadow of the marks (on holder) show onto the coin.

I am fairly certain you can see an example of this around the "1992" area of the dollar. I think there are a few other areas on these coins that show this. For example, under the "O" in "ONE DOLLAR".

What do you all think? I am in the learnin process.

And always willing to learn.
