Jim and Dave....thank you for sparing me from a long EZ Est post! I think Dave's summary should be a forum sticky.

I agree with the old timers, leave it alone or buy a problem-free example if the spots bother you.

Murrellington Please forgive me, I don't mean to pry. But how did you make out on selling the coin, did you recover after fees and shipping what you spent. Same thing for the purchase of your replacement. How'd you make out?

Purchaded for $49.75 shipped, sold on craigslist for $46. Bought another for same price but talked to the dealer and hes making sure this one wont have any bad spots. I dont mind losing out on a couple bucks that much. I'll be upset if it happens again though.
