We do have an "ID Required" area you can post things in, if you don't know what they are.

This is a copper massa from mediaeval Sri Lanka, 1197-1286 AD. Your top pic is right way up, the bottom pic needs to be rotated 90 degrees clockwise. Yours is from the reign of king ParakramaBahu II (1236-1271). See this old thread and this website for more info.
