I just received a $50.00 bank note with no braille.
Are these common or? Any premium? (Sorry no picks. The braille doesn't show up on pics. Regular note)

No input yet?
Maybe some don't know what I'm talking about.
Braille is used by the blind for reading or writing.
On the top of (Canadian)bank notes are dots or points and when a blind person runs their finger across the top of a note, they can tell what denomination it is accrding to the number of dots.
The $50.00 dollar note in question has no dots or points.
Make sense now?

Hi Collectall,

I was just looking at a few random notes in my wallet, and they all have the raised dots on them. Is your note new, or has it been heavily circulated? If it's brand new, and there's no braille, then I think something like that would be worthy of a premium, but I'm not really a bill guy; I mainly collect coins.

Be careful, there are some bills around like that that are fakes.
Im not saying that yours is, I would just check all of the security features just in case.

What year is it? I have not seen any error notes like that yet.
Maybe the Canadian Paper Money Forum would help. I hope it is uncirculated.
