In another discussion I said that there were notes that I felt were really beautiful in their design and printing. Well messing around this morning I found one and thought I would share it.

Although I'm not crazy about the reverse on this one, it has always been my favorite obverse:

Susan,

Did you notice the "US" on the reverse..? It looks similar to the USA found on the Bar cent of 1785.

Susan,

The Black Eagle Note has been a popular note for a long time. I never really cared that much for it. I think mainly because of that darn reverse design.

I think it was around 1914 the Government issued a $5.00 note that had a battleship on the reverse. Now if we could take the Black Eagle and put the Battle Wagon on the back I would really go for that....

I think they should take the Indian note and put the black eagle on the reverse.

I would welcome any change to the current lack of idea notes we are forced to carry in our pockets. The new Fed Chairman has taken her place, but no word if she will actually stand up and work within the authority given or backdown like the predecessors.
