I would like to get some input from the members here regarding the 20th Anniversary gold sets that have been graded and are now selling on ebay. I am thinking about a 69 grade set, which seem to be selling for about $4,000 or a little under right now. The 70 sets are more like $6,000 and up. I don't like the PCGS sets because almost everyone I see has the "First Strike" stuff on it and I won't pay more money for something that is contrived, so NGC will be the way I would go. I bought an ungraded set that was opened for somewhat less than the $4,000, so the price graded with the 20th Anniversary blue sticker doesn't sound that bad, but I'm wondering what you all think of this idea. It's a lot of money, but on the other hand, I don't know how many graded sets there are, or will be, since a lot of people opened them and then found out they couldn't get the entire set graded. So I think the rarity will be there on this set. And the fact that the Reverse Proof will probably sell for that much or more in a few years needs to be considered.

What think ye coin folk?
