I just received 2 rolls of what looks like unopened LWC Rolls I can not see any trace of tampering so wish me luck  I will post the results when I go through them ..

Holy cow ! Is the wirdest thing I ever seen ! If is it from the san francisco mint why the coins are not ms ?whatever , so it would be full S mm ! You dont need me to wish you luck , I mean you are very luck ; anyway good luck and go buste it open and post more pics with the results my fellow member !.. One more thing .. I though the us mint in the LWC age used bags and not rolls I guess I was wrong ..!

You could be right Ricardocody. Someone could have used a rubber stamp on the rolls.

Went through the 2 rolls and here is what I got 1 1913 1 1916 1 1917 1 1917d 1 1917s looks to be in good shape still has some luster to it 6 1918 4 1919 1 1919s 6 1920 1 1924s 3 1925 1 1925d 3 1926 4 1927 3 1928 2 1928d 6 1929 1 1929d 2 1930 1 1935 1 1935s 3 1936 2 1936d 4 1937 4 1937d 3 1938 1 1938d 10 1939 and 21 40's-50's

Sorry Ricardocody Typo it was a 1924s and I paid almost 20.00 per roll

$20 per roll? Ouch man. I hate to say it, but I think you got ripped off there.
And while I hate to be a buzzkill, that 1917D has been polished to heck and back.

Ok ! We have to try ones ! I tried 2 ebay unsearched lots and I ll never buy it again because the money I could buy 2 or 3 key dates but we dont know until we do it !btw the way your roll was with only back of weath on the ends was lil suspicious but who knows ?!.

You got those off of ebay didn't you? I learned my lesson the HARD way(long story short I paid $179 for a roll. Won't go into detail as its to embarrassing and I should have known better.) Its cheaper just just to buy the keydates yourself.

A roll of pre 35's (searched of course but still some fun) run me $7.50 at coin shows. They would clobber what you bought.
When I buy rolls from my local dealer he always lays out a mat so I can spread 'em out. I always know what I buying.

Ya they are ebay finds ,I went into knowing that there is a chance that they may not be what they are saying they are ,but its no biggy ,I had fun opening it lol
