Hello All,

I just recently have gotten into collecting coins. I really enjoy searching through pennies for wheat cents and IHC's. I have had some luck with searching through rolls of pennies from the bank. Will I find any Buffalo nickels in coin rolls from the bank?

Thanks

to the Forum!

There are a few CCFers doing nickel roll searches. Check out these threads and see if they help you. (I just entered "nickel search" into the CCF SEARCH function. It's great tool for this website.)

There is a chance, but Buffalo nickels are rare in roll-searching. It will take many rolls just to find even one (unless you find a dumped collection). But all it takes is a lot of rolls and patience, and you will find one.

Yes, I find about one Buffalo per box. Much more common than Indian Head cents.
