What's Your 1942/1 Mercury Head Story?

merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 09/10/2011 8:06 pm I was just sitting here looking through ebay's Mercury Head dimes, daydreaming I'd come across a 1942/1 overdate for $5 from some non-dealer who didn't know what they had... yeah I know, it's never gonna happen, but I can dream, can't I? So I started wondering if there were any good stories from CCF members here that have found this rare overdate somehow? I for one would love to hear your acquisition stories.
