I have some spare Ireland and england coins can anyone tell me the best place to get rid of them or to trade them for something more intresting or a rough idea of the value

in Eire 1p's

1988 x3
1980 x2
1995 x3

in Eire 2p's

1971
1988

1995

then
a new 5 pence 1979
a 1/2p 1983
10p bailiwick of guernsey berry design
10 p 3 legs with 'quocunque jecesis stabit' on the front dated 1992
half penny ship 1965
2p Bailiwick of Jersey casle 1992

I also have some pre euro coins in my collection are they of any value?

Well, we need pics of the coins to say for certain because their value is mostly dependent upon their condition.
Assuming they are in ordinary circulated condition, here are some values in US dollars...

1971-1988 Ireland 2 pence: .25 cents each in circulated to $1.00 each for mint condition
1980-1995 Ireland pence: face value
the new pence and half pence are face value, again depending if they are in "mint" condition they might be worht a little more.The 1965 half penny, assuming it is from Great Britain, is worth about .35 cents up to a dollar in mint.
Bailiwich of Guersney 2 pence came in proof sets only, it is worth about a dollar.
The other ones I am not sure. You are better off hanging on to them than trying to sell them, you wouldn't get much.
