From the land of the Bluenose.....well the annual Windsor ball tournament was underway with our first game of the day at 0830hrs. Team was really coming together and jelling.

Of course I was so anxious to get there that I forgot my uniform!

Anyway Marie caught this hit which I got all of and managed to turn the triple into a double blowing out my left knee in the process. So ended my ball season!
Baby-Gold-Ring
Limped over to Otto and headed home but not before Marie stopped at a yard sale and fruit stand.

That evening was spent with Mr. Bud Weiser, my agent and we came to the decision that we would rest the knee....ya right as next morning I limped to Otto with digging gear over shoulder. Marie had gone on a shopping safari with her sisters.

Hit a local playing field fielding a dozen coins. Finding the target no problem, kneeling down no problem, digging the target, getting up.....................Lord love a duck! Enough of that as I went aquatic hoping the knee would be okay.

First find there was an eyeballer me bouy.
Baby-Gold-Ring
Started a slow knee deep grid and pulled out a few coins along with this petite "baby" gold ring which now makes 2 of that particular ring that I have recovered.

Here it is beside the junker one found on this swish.
Baby-Gold-Ring
Another few coins and I had to retreat. Spent the evening with my agent Mr. Bud Weiser who suggested that a few days off from everything was in order along with a visit to my witch doctor, Dr, Sindar Paul Seetharamadoo..great!

Take for the abbreviated outing was a junker ring, gold ring, the trippy ball, an ice cream charm and 31 coins @$7.14

Looks like it to me too! Awesome finds. That thing melts around 7 bucks depending on the market.
