Got this from my local dealer, but I'm a noob at grading. Would like some other opinions based on the photos - does this one rate MS-65 ? Lighting is a bit weird, but best I could do on short notice. Paid $190, NGC says $237. How did I do ? Comments welcomed. Obverse Reverse

I have to agree with NGC, looks comparable to my 1898 O MS65 Morgan, New Orleans is known for their weaker strikes, and I think this year and the year I have, along with others were very well struck years. Makes me want to buy some more MS64 and 65's!

I would agree it looks like a 65 with light contact marks but the cheek is relatively clean. Nice creamy luster on this coin and looks fine.

Yeah, I can get on board with MS65 on this one. Price was decent, about equivalent to what you could do online once shipping and insurance is paid. Nice strong strike, definitely a keeper.
