We are to get 4 to 6 inches of rain here the next couple of days.

Looks like a good time to get a couple hundred dollars in change and pass the soggy time away.

Sounds good...but...what about excessive moisture in the atmosphere?
It probably wouldn't affect coins so immeadiately but the last time we got flooded (in a tropical storm) the humidity was very high and I didn't dare bring out my banknotes to do some work.
Best of luck anyway and hope it doesn't affect you too badly.

Wish we'd get some lousy weather so I'd have an excuse to work on my coin collection more.

Send a picture! In San Antonio, we've forgotten what that looks like. It's been since last October when we all saw the last decent rainfall.

You folks need to come to Mass; a little drizzle, 90+ days are very rare, no drought, no floods, no fires, Irene was a dud. Tough to stay in around here!
