Poll Question
As many of us know Cap'n Wiffo did a Buffalo nickel project and found a lot of good dates, including a few 1913 S Type 2's. Now I bought this one from him and before I bought it he sent me a picture and we both thought it was an S. Now that I have it in hand I cant tell what it is.

What do you guys think it is? Please be honest! Vote now!

2nd pic certainly shows a ghostly 'S', but 1st pic doesn't seem to cover that area?

I see the outline of an S in the first pic.
Maybe this will help;

@rachums107: Feel free to take it out of the 2x2 if needed to get a better picture. With the condition of the coin, I'm not too worried about that if you need to return it.

That really looks like an "S", but you may have a hard time getting a premium for it if you go to sell it since people might be afraid it is a D or not even a mint mark at all. Very careful application of Nic a Date or something similar might make it clearer, although I'd be a little nervous about doing it to a valuable coin. If you decided to sell it you may want to send it to a TPG. If they determine a mint mark and put it on the label that will help a lot.

its an S. Maybe worth $20 in that condition or so, $30+ if it were less worn.
