I have a medal that on one side says "300th Anniversary of the Founding of the City of New York," and on the other side says
"Man's Achievements in Expanding Universe." The medal is silver or grey, and is fairly heavy for it's size. Just wondering if anybody knows where and what this Medal is from, and what it is made of?

Issued for the New York World's Fair of 1964/65. The other side commemorates New York's 300 Anniversary- one reason New York wanted to have the Fair there. Possibly Zinc or Tin- not a usual metal, an nice to find in such nice condition- these metals will commonly corrode.
