SPP-Ottawa Moderator Canada 10460 Posts	Posted 09/09/2011 5:10 pm EF-45, cleaned. The colour (patina) is not right, given the amount of wear on that coin. Compare the open fields to the fields in between the letters of the legend (obverse). Also, look at the colour of the coin on the high parts (reverse)... someone gave that coin a nice rubbing, with a soft cloth or Q-tip. What you see is the angle of the shot and light conditions not showing the true colors. The coin has taken on a purple hue, possibly due to the purple cloth I am using...
