Got this coin graded by PCGS. Guess what they actually graded it.

I don't see any wear and the surfaces look original, just darkly toned. Lack of luster would limit it to MS-62 IMO, with an AU-58 grade also possible if slight wear is hiding below the tone.

Very nice coin and very tough in high grade.

I think maybe AU-58 but I can't rule out the possibility that this is in a genuine slab.

Yea that's what I was thinking.

I figured if it were a genuine the OP would be a little more upset. I sure would be. lol

The strong details and overall look of the toning made me lean toward a proof strike. I'm probably wrong though. :D

Either AU-58 or MS-62 can't tell from photos if it has any rub

Well here is the answer. AU-53

I am not sure I totally agree with it as I think just because of some of the dirt and grim that has collected on it they gave it a harsher grade. Would anyone agree and would anyone like to see closer pics for better detail. Let me know.

Yeah, definitely netted down for the dark toning. I don't see any real wear on it.

Does anyone else agree that it got knocked down because of the dark toning?
