Hello,

I'm not a coin collector, but recently my wife was given this coin as change by mistake (it looks like a 2eur coin at a passing glance). It's been driving me nuts trying to figure out where it's from. Can someone tell me? For some reason I can't upload images, but they're at http://www.vt220.org/coin

Thanks for any help you can offer!
Rest in Peace

Oh yeah, and it's a 10 baht. No clue on the year, but recent.

The date in Thai is at 2-3 o'clock on the reverse. It is BE2539 (AD1996). The design is the common one for issues between 1989 up to 2008.
That particlar year was also the 50th year of the reign of King Rama IX and other special commemorative coins were struck.
