2010 Cent Toning - Coin Community Forum

unholyroller Pillar of the Community United States 1903 Posts	Posted 09/08/2011 9:41 pm I ran into a bunch of toned 2010 Lincoln cents today. They all have a firey yellow to light red toning with lots of bright orange. Do coins like this ever bring a premium or are they just a curiosity? The reason I ask is because they are sooo cool looking thqt I am thinking about making some jewelry for my wife out of them, they would make a killer looking necklace Report this Post to the Staff

If they were beautifully toned with no spots/scratches/other problems, I may keep a few, even out of curiosity, but other than that, even toned, there are too many of them minted to command any premium.
