I would give it a VF35 and agree that a TPG would probably bump it up for eye appeal. So many problem 1877's out there it's nice to see this one. Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6398 Posts	Posted 01/10/2012 1:41 pm I think it was a good call to get it slabbed to prove authenticity and provide long-term protection. You should be pleased with the no-problem result. In hindsight it might have been a stretch to expect an EF grade and a VF-35 1877 is a terrific coin to have. Congratulations!
