P Mint Nebraska Quarter Puzzler (At Least To Me)

ericmckeown Valued Member United States 379 Posts	Posted 09/10/2011 2:05 pm I found a Nebraska quarter with a P mint mark and I noticed the edge was completely silver colored. Not even the slightest trace of a clad sandwich.I don't have a scale so I tried dropping it on its side and definitely doesn't have that silver chime to it.I tried to do my research but found nothing. biokemist6 Bedrock of the Community United States 12437 Posts	Posted 09/10/2011 3:55 pm It is almost certainly plated- State Quarters have been plated in silver, gold, and platinum by the millions. A weight of the coin accurate to 0.1g will be much more telling than pictures. Report this Post to the Staff

He got really mad when QVc cancelled the program due to lack of demand, so he never got the set completed. Report this Post to the Staff
