OK, so here is my brain child of a little give away. If anyone has seen the Fraggles, on the Muppet Movies then you might know that they sing a song called pass it on. You get something nice, cherish it and then pass it on to a friend. Since we are a family on here and I really want to give back and thank people for the knowledge I have gained I want to put this little thing together. When you log on and gain some knowledge, get a question answered, or see something that helps you in your coin collecting projects I think it would really be nice to pass on a thank you to them. I will start this process off. Coming up in the next few days I will find someone on the forum here who has made an impact in something I have read or answer something I have asked. I will message them this in their EMAIL. Quote:

This will be a chain starting with me, not sure if I made it really clear. So the person I send something to will be the next in line to pass something of theirs onto someone that has helped them. Hope this isn't too confusing. If it is too complicated I will reword some things.

Great idea googoo! I love Fraggle Rock! Talk about a show ahead of its time, If you have Comcast, you can find Fraggle Rock episodes on Demand, Under Kids. Then the Hub. Or like you said Youtube. I couldn't believe I started tearing up, watching them again. I couldn't be much older then 3. It brought back so many fond memories. Thunder cats, He Man, I don't think their was ever a better line up, And Voltron was even in the mix! Thank you so much!

I have chosen the person I want to send something to and just sent them an email and I am awaiting that person's response. I wanted to update this thread so everyone knows that it is alive and well.

Okay, here we go! The person I chose to send a gift to is spring423. I was moved by his generosity in giving away the 1946s Washington quarter he found in this thread: https://goccf.com/t/97134that I held a Labor Day Weekend of giveaways, and I loved every minute of it. It was a great reminder to me that in this life there is more than dollars and cents. There is dollars and there is sense, and I have a bit of both to share with my friends. Googoo's package made my day, and I hope spring will feel the same way! We'll wait for him to post his choice of who to send a gift to after he receives my package. Stay tuned! so each time a gift happens I will just make a post adding to the list.
If nothing else it will continually bump this thread to the top again.

Interesting idea. This is like a game of six degrees of Kevin Bacon. I wonder how long it will take to go full circle and someone chooses googoo to send something to.  BTW Fraggle Rock was my favorite show when I was a kid!  |
