One of my very favorite coin types and this one's a beaut. I'm gonna go VF-35 on her.

I would say from XF 45 to AU 50. Many pieces I have seen have strong strike on one side and weaker on the other. Good color and eye appeal.

I will say XF45. A great looking Capped Bust Half!

I'll say AU-50, it doesn't look like wear on the eagles head or liberty's hair, weak strike.

Yea, this seems to be a later Die State, you can see that easily from the denticles and the way the letters and stars 'ghost' to the edge.
You can see realistic wear on the OBV on the top of the right breast, the nose and the eyebrow. On the REV the most distinct point is the top most leaf of the olive branch. Everywhere else is hard to tell if its slight wear or worn features.
I would Say between the slight wear (potentially more from hair and feathers, hard to tell) and number of decent nicks and scratches (most prominent are across the M of 'E PLURBUS UNUM' and next to the Eye)...
XF45 at least. Possibly AU50 if its more die wear than circulation wear.
Gorgeous coin, still lots of luster and a beautiful toning.
So I'm still trying to get better at Attributing an Overton number, but I think the best match, from what I can see, is 1829 O-115R.1 (OBV-9 REV-L)
Maybe someone could confirm / deny this?
Gorgeous coin either way. Nice pickup!

I agree with EF-45 to AU-50. Wear is obvious but light. The pale centers have the look of a light, long-ago cleaning which should not raise any flags at NGC. I would guess the peripheral toning gradually developed after that cleaning; hopefully I'm imagining a defect and the coin has been judged problem-free.
It's a nice-looking half with a lot of appeal.

AU55 I think, and at that you got beat. O-115 it is; the second "T" in "STATES" is the smoking gun pickup.
