1917 2 Francs - Silver Content (And Other World Coins)

Hello,

I have ran across a 1917 2 Francs coin.

I would like to know how much silver content it has seeing I have been able to determine it was a quite common coin and does not demand a lot as for as permanent collections.

My home scale, very basic one at that, weighs it at .35 ounces. I think I read related coins were 82.5% silver. I come up with a rough .29 ounces this way.

I would really like an official, or reliable, source for this and other foreign coins. If you know of one, please let me know.

You've come up very close to the exact figure:
Coin weight; 10 gr @ .835% = 0.2684oz silver.
