http://www.thelocal.se/article.php?ID=5349This has been the most talked about numismatic event around Scandanavia during the past month or so. Pretty cool!
Summary:
Two brothers discovered a Viking treasure dating back to the 10th century. The discovery was made on Gotland, the island off the eastern coast of Sweden. The treasure contained about 1100 coins and a few bracelets, mostly of Arabic descent. The brothers turned in their find to the Swedish government, and will receive a reward.
