The stars must have been aligned today for me as I walked into a local Wells Fargo branch and started talking to one of the tellers about trying to find some old notes for my son when he gets older.
Well, she said she has been keeping some that she has found and wouldn't mind selling them to me for face. Well, I managed to pick up a 1934B $50, a 1950A $20, and a 1963 $5!
Not bad for only $75. I will try to post pictures soon.

She has a handful more $50s and $20s. I might go back there next week to see if I can get anymore from her.

Yea for sure. I would say grab em all if they are for face. Put em up for auction here if you dont want.. worse that happens is you spend em.

Love all 3 of them. Keep them all considering you got them at face value. I would go back and grab as many as you can afford to get. Good investment at that price for sure.

Well I went back to the bank one last time before I have to leave town to go home. I managed to pick up juuuussssttt a few more notes. This is what I acquired from the same teller in total: 1950B $5 1963 $5 (2 each) 1950A $10 (3 each) 1950B $10 (3 each) 1963A $10 (2 each) 1950A $20 (2 each with one Chicago note being a star) 1950B $20 (3 of them) 1934B $50 1934C $50 I have heard mixed opinions from Wells Fargo, but after this experience, I must say that are top notch in my book. I used to pull stuff like this from my cash register at a gas station nightly
I have over $1,500 of old style bills
if nothing else I love the look of them
