We were going through some old boxes yesterday and found an old misprinted $2 bill we had from years ago.
Unfortunately it was ripped in half, as you can see from the pictures...
However what is unique is that the bill is not rectangular- the "paper" was folded over when it was printed. As a result some of the front of the bill is actually printed on the back of the bill if you pull the "tab" flat...
I've never seen a misprint like this before- I understand that the bill being ripped is a major setback for any collectible value it might have, but what do you think- is it worth getting looked at by a professional or will they laugh at me for even bringing this in?
It's a 1976 edition.
