Well, what you guys think? I don't have any pics of the reverse, but the grade is consistant with the obverse. Image: 82-sobvs3.jpg51.06 KB Edited by hadleydog 12/12/2006 7:51 pm

I would have to give it MS62 at best. The hits in the cheek are pretty deep and thats where they grade the harshest.Theres a pretty deep one in the neck and below the chin also.

I don't care for toners but I'll make an exception for this one. My bet is the holder says MS64, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was PL under that gorgeous textile toning.

I believe 63 and have to agree with superdave with a possible pl designation. Very nice toning. Textile is definitely my favorite type of toning.

Tough crowd! Actually, the noise on the cheek is very minimal in hand.....the picture really amplifies them. This is why grading from images can be so tough, especially on toned coins. I'll reveal the grade later today.

Sorry HD, The color could really be bringing out the marks also and there could be scratches on the slab itself that look like there on the coin. If the marks were anywhere else besides the cheek,I would have graded a lot higher, but I know grading companies detract the most points for anything on the cheek area.Still a beauty. I could be way off as I never grade toned coins. The fields look really clean thou.

Don't get me wrong - I'd own it, I'd buy it, you can give it to me if you like - but I still don't think it quite makes 65.

I would call this girl a pq ms64 with a bump for the color, so I actually agree with you guys!
