I was wondering how to grade and value coins that have been made into necklaces, bracelets and what not..

I have some older silver coins from Spain that were made into bracelets I guess, and some of the types are more rare.

Also 1 of them looks particulary nice , perhaps VF/EF?
It looks like they were made into bracelets early 1900's, at least they are not made like this in recent years

I will post them here, and will be looking forward to some reactions... The coins are all 50 Centimos and portrait Alfonso XIII, a nice evolution from "baby" to "older man"

1889/1892 ?

Agh!

That's the grade given to these. These are technically ungradeable.

To the majority, the value would be realistically undermelt value.

It's like the village blacksmith tried to make jewelry
Since the dates are obliterated, I would guess they're basically worth the value of metal?

I agree that they are ruined as collectible coins.

You might be able to get the most value from them by selling to a hobbyist jeweler or someone that values them the way they are. I would at least look into that before you consider removing the mounts. I'd leave them as is before making a permanent decision.

The coins are damaged and not gradeable. They are worth melt value of the silver.
