Are these worth keeping or selling? The bank knows I collect coins so they asked me if I wanted them. I said sure why not.

Alright, thanks Lincoln, if time passes and they are regular mintage, I will probably sell them.

I was wondering that too force. When would I know the mintage number for these? I do see these rolls selling on ebay for more than face value.

Right here: http://www.usmint.gov/about_the_min...11#starthere

It's slightly higher than the other 2011 quarters, but lower than last year's quarters' mintages.

Looking through ebay, rolls from the State Quarters and territories aren't by any means HOT sellers. Sames goes for rolls of dollar coins. Most sellers sell though about $10 more than face value and they just don't move. For me personally I am not collecting the ATB Quarters, or the Prez and Sacs. The State Quarter program was admittidly fun, it was different. But I think the program lasted too long. I had really hoped to have a brand new regular quarter design or at least go back to the eagle as shown from 1932-1998.

They are hard to find in complete unc rolls from the mint, particularly @ face. I'd save them.

It looks like the ATB Quarters will have a much less mintage then State Quarters.

For me I have no problem selling ATB Quarters at 50 cents each, to local dealers.
I only sell a few at a time, when they have a customer that needs them.

My plan is to keep at least 20 of each. When the program is over I will be able to
sell complete sets. I still sell complete sets of State Quarters, IMO ATB Quarter sets
will be harder to put together than State Quarters, as we get towards the end of the program.

Of course people will want CH/BU grades. If you were going to dump the roll, I would sort
through it and keep several of better grades.

Since we're not supposed to have the "Satin Finish" anymore in the Mint Sets, I'm kind of losing my interest in these rolls or "circulation" quarters, to be honest. That was a HUGE reason why I pursued rolls or individual coins in past years.
I will buy each years Uncirculated Mint Set, each years Proof Set, and each years Silver Proof Set, from the Mint.
These will be broken up and put into their prospective Dansco album.
Therefore, I don't see where I would need to "collect" the BU circulation rolls or individual quarters.

Maybe if there was a known error to look for in a certain ATB, I'd try to procure a few rolls.
And maybe if there was an UNREAL low mintage with a particular issue i'd go after those.
But I just don't see it as a very necessary thing to do, to collect these ATB rolls. A good quality MS grade will come in your Mint Sets.....no need to look any further IMO.

For those who plan on trying to put together P&D ATB Sets from "circulation" just for fun.......good luck on that !
And you'll obviously be paying a premium markup of some level, on the mintmarks you can't find, or in the quality you want. I really really really doubt that ANYONE will be able to find BOTH mintmarks from wherever they live in a nice MS grade for an album. They can be traded for too, I understand though, and that would certainly be do-able, but ....lots of Postage and padded envelopes for that !
It's just a lot of trouble for the "SAME COINS" that will be in your Uncirculated Mint Sets.

So, my vote is to save a few of the best ones for the heck of it........spend/sell/trade all of the rest !

I will say it will be easier finding better quality coins in mint sets now. I was buying individual coins on ebay for 2011 dated coins but they always seem to have too many contact marks for my liking. But still the price of mint sets is somewhat obscene.
