Hey everyone, long time reader, short time poster. The past little bit my fiance and I have been looking for a complete list of Canadian Pennies that we can obtain in order to begin putting a set together. Suprisingly enough, (unless I struggle real hard at searching), I have not been able to find a complete detailed list of the Canadian Penny. So the follow list in the post below is what I've been able to find through the Charlton, but not sure if there would be anything missing. I'll update this with any that are missing, just let me know! -T-

1954 NSF cent exists, but only in prooflike finish. I would add that to the list, as it is a commonly accepted as a 'must have' to complete any Canadian penny collection, even though it is not a business strike.

Why would you bother to include the 1859 brass cent, but not the obverse types for the other Victorian large cents?
For small cents, you are missing the 1929 High 9, the 1948 A to small denticle, and the 1955 short and long denticles. You are also missing the 4 1965 Types and the 1983 near/far beads.

Quote: Why would you bother to include the 1859 brass cent, but not the obverse types for the other Victorian large cents? Hey SPP, Unfortunately my only source is the Charlton, which doesn't include any of the 1859 brass cent, or "obverse types for the other Victorian large cents". If you would be so kind as to list them, I'll gladly add them to the list. Quote: There was a thread on this topic a week or two ago....maybe in varieties? I can only assume that someone has done a list like this before, but I can't manage to find it :( Quote: here some varieties, errors & coins only found in Mint sets Hey Penny4Me, Do you suggest I add a seperate page for these type of errors? Or should I include them in the main list? Quote: For small cents, you are missing the 1929 High 9, the 1948 A to small denticle, and the 1955 short and long denticles. I like the cent series BUT...it is riddled with way too many varieties for my liking. If the RCM wants to experiment with various coinage changes they should do so privately with test coins instead of using circulating coinage. This leaves behind a mass of varieties.

I had never really focused on the 1952-2002 coin before...are there really two versions of that one? I had thought there was only one.....maybeyou just mean 2002P. You are missing the W and WP cents, plus the Old and new effigy 2003 cents.
