I think $99 for the silver would be a good price.

I purchased both today. You have to have either purchased Lunar coins from APMEX in the past or had the "alert me" set up for each to be able to purchase.

Due to the overwhelming demand, the 1 oz. Silver Dragon coin will only be available to customers who have previously purchased 1 oz. Silver Australian Lunar Series 2 coins from us, or those who participated in the AlertMe! feature. In order to accommodate as many requests as possible, each customer may purchase only 1 coin at this time.

Not a fan of the Australian Dragon. With all the fault in RCM's 2 lotus and regular issue I still feel the Canadian versions are the better of the two mints. Especially the gold Australian one.. the dragon looks like a sickly worm with twigs sticking out

went to J&M last weekend, Perth Mint kilo silver dragon selling at 2,200 each, that's $70/oz. I don't know where they get this price, APMEX has it $1,200 each... anyway, just before leaving, I noticed a 1998 10oz maple leaf with cracked capsule, the coin itself is intact. I ended up paying $450 for this big maple leaf. although I paid some premium (SML was $37/oz), I'm happy with the heavy and thick feeling in hand

nice catch!
The 10oz SML really is something. Did you get the sterling silver certificate of authenticity with it?

:) I keep telling my wife we can only afford one kid. If we end up with more than one, we're picking favorites

actually the best gift you can give to your son? is a brother or a sister so that they can play and grow up together...
