This Translates into Saint Mark's in Venice, Italy. I have a couple of Venetian coins and this one looks nothing like them. My best guess is this may be a church token for Saint Mark's Cathedral. Sap Moderator Australia 16817 Posts	Posted 09/21/2011 11:14 pm The reverse says "DALMA ET ALBAN" - it's from "Dalmatia & Albania", the name of the Venetian-controlled territories along the coast of what are now Croatia and Montenegro. It's not ancient - 1500s, maybe 1600s from memory. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S.
