Biggest drop I've seen this year, right about $36.54 oz as of this instant. Bulls should be rushing in later today I expect. Buy, buy, buy...

Good and bad for me.
I want to buy some common date mercs for my collection so the drop makes them cheaper, but I also am trying to sell a roll of 40%ers and this means I wont get as much for them.

I just read a report that stated part of the fall in precious metals is indirect. A lot of mutual funds have a PM component mixed in with the stocks. As people are bailing out of thoses funds the PM's have to be sold along with the stocks. I'm sure that this isn't the main portion that is pulling back, but it is a factor. There are also margin calls as well as simply people getting out of all investments and moving to cash as the dollar goes up.

I see it being a bear market until Fridays close, I can see sub 35$ silver and below $1700 for gold... Wait till close Friday and buy buy buy over the weekend. This stronger US dollar is also a great time for you yanks to buy some colorful Canadian $$$. Gold here is Canada is down $9 to just under 1800$

I see it as good news and no hurt on my holdings at all. I would not mind a even larger fall though I can't say if it will do that or head back above $40.

I have keep everything balanced in many different types of markets. Swings even large ones are to be expected, part of the reason I caution on buying PM with credit.

I will ride this swing like I did when it was going up and never look back on what I did yesterday.

I made some money on the highs so what is there to worry about. Personally I would love to see $20's again in the silver market but I can't say for sure that would happen.

Since I have time on my side I am sure we will go through many swings. Now if I was 65 I would have a far different outlook on what I call the swings in the Pm market.

Though I am sure Joe will be around to say how he has predicted the great fall in the PM market. Lets see where it ends up by the end of the year and I will have a better feel myself.

I know I'm leaving work early to go buy. thats for sure.

Once the asian markets open up, it should recover.

He is probably putting together a silver collapse party, and will strike when we least expect it! Like a troll preying on its victims late at night (They should have trusted there noses), when they get too close to the dark under section of that old run down bridge on the backside of town.....
