i found this penny 2 day it has a dot between the head and the o in god can anyone tell me what it is? thanks ..im new at this coin error finding... just looking for... comments that will help me...

If it is Zinc cent, it is probably a gas bubble under the copper plating. This was very common on the 80's cents.

Unique way of taking a photograph. I follow Coop's thought that this is a gas bubble that is trapped between the copper layer and the zinc core.

I'LL Follow Coop & B.J.'s lead....Gas Bubble...here's more, from the www:
. Gas Bubbles under Copper Coating - obv/rev - plating bubbles are caused by gas that gets trapped between the zinc core and the copper plating when it is applied. These plating blisters involves a mix of improperly washed planchets, contaminated plating material, and plating at the wrong temperatures. These coins have gas bubbles trapped underneath the copper plating that welled upward when the coin was struck. There are tons of these post 1983 cents in circulation

Gas Bubbles under Copper Coating - US Mint workers must have been eating alot of beans in the 80's ?
