I hope I did good because my girl ll be so mad at me when she find out about it lol

And I have a chance to buy per $300 = 50 states S mm quarters silver set in a wood box and pvc holder+territories S mm silver quarters set each on icg proof 70Dcam+2009S lincoln 4 coin set each coin anacs proof 70dcam slab
Please give your opinion if it worth pay $300 per the lot ?!. I didnt buy because I think silver ll go back down to low $30s even high $20s per oz to the end of 2011 . Also I'm not a big fan of slabs , but the lincoln cents looked so awesome on the anacs proof 70DCAM and the us territories State Quarters on ICG proof 70DCAM are just ridiculous beautyfull!
I-Made-A-Investment-And-Want-Your-Opinion-. I-Made-A-Investment-And-Want-Your-Opinion-.
I forgot to take pics of the us territory quarters though and sorry for the quality of the pics but I ll post better ones after take the coins out out of the plastic holders .

Where did you buy it from? I think the Barber half alone paid for your investment. I think you got a steal for that set.

I don't know how much the silver price will affect the price of those silver proof quarters. But $300 seems like a good deal. The 1999 set alone sells for over $100. I couldn't answer your question based off of today's market though. A couple days ago I would have jumped all over that deal though. Maybe someone else can answer better for you.

If that 1927 Standing Liberty quarter had a s mintmark, that would have been awesome! Your gonna have to submit to ngc or pcgs to see what grade the coins cone back as.

That is the type of story that if it was me I'd be sitting here for a long time wondering what I missed out on before.
What you did get is really great so don't you wonder what you missed?

You did FANTASTIC!

The 1906 Barber Half is worth approx $1000.00 in the 2012 Red-Book in MS63 grade , so just that coin alone is worth far more than the $400.00 you spent!

Even if you knock $200.00 off of the Red-Book price, its still worth $800.00 by itself and 2 times what you spent for the entire lot.

WTG, Congrats on a great pick-up!

It'll take $400 to buy that Barber Half in AU, much less Mint State. That's a stupendous purchase; the other coins were free.

As for the Quarters, I would recommend holding off. The price is roughly wholesale for their silver content, and ICG is known to be enthusiastic when grading Moderns. Not that I don't like ICG for Classics, but I don't believe an ICG PR70 will cross. Even if they do, based on the cost of grading you'll likely not take much of a profit. Not many are worth as much as $50 in PR70DCAM. Understand, Heritage has offered more PR70 Statehood Quarters than all other Statehood Quarters combined, and it's not even close.

Thanks for the the posts guys ! I can see we all have the same opinion ont the quarters . I was thinking about buy the quarter only because of the territories 2009 set every coin slabed icg proof70 Dcam its the only interesting thing to me on the whole quarter deal as I all ready have most of the regular proof quartes and it sells very cheap not much above melt !
If anyone here is interested on the quarters feels free to pm me and I ll set uou to contact my friend !.

What about the 2009s lincolns anacs proof70DCAM do they worth any ? I'm thinking in offer him some money for them . He would give me the 4 different designs lincons for free if I buy the quarters !

As mentioned earlier, the Barber half was a great buy for the cost of the lot. Nice group of free coins below it. If it were me I would put these in a Dansco 7070. Not sure about the price for the modern proofs. I've never been a big fan.

Muur I only sell coins that I have double to buy other coins , I have no patience to try sell coins to make money because I never make half of what I usualy pay for it ! The barber half was just luck of draw because if it make ms64 or higher this coin worth couple 1000s .
