Not quite true, since the hyperinflation didn't really "help" with their war reparation payments, because the reparations were required to be paid in gold or foreign currency, not the increasingly valueless marks. The hyperinflation was, however, a direct result of 1/3 of the country's GNP being siphoned off to pay the debt, and a lack of faith in the government's ability to do anything about it.
There were two different 20,000,000 mark notes printed, dated 25/7/1923 and 1/9/1923, as well as numerous semi-official and notgeld issues. The 1/9/1923 type has numerous varieties, based on the pattern of the watermark, a couple of which are quite scarce. We'd need more information (or preferably pics) to give a more reliable indication of value.
