Mint Product Prices Disturbing

It would be nice to buy rolls and bags from the mint but they charge so much more than face value. I think it would be better to go to your bank and see if they have bank wrapped rolls of a particular coin and you'd be able to get them for face value. In my opinion, I think the mint should sell rolls and bags for face just as banks do.

The Mint has made 3 billion dollars since the begining of the State Quarter program. And the way I see it, the money will quadruple when the Presidential dollar program starts. Are you trying to take away their profits? If it keeps up, the Mint will be supporting the U.S. Government.

I don't mind them making a little money, but the prices they charge for circulation quality coins is a bit too much. Once you figure in the difference between actual minting cost and face value, the mint is by far and away one of the most profitable businesses in the world.
