bjones Valued Member United States 304 Posts	Posted 10/04/2011 4:41 pm Not sure about MS65, definitely a beauty, but some rim nicks around 6 and 8 o'clock on the obverse and some nicks on George's neck it appears. Great luster it seems. Why slab it? These are not rare, the coin is certainly authentic. For protection? I would just put it in an air-tite. Report this Post to the Staff
ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 10/05/2011 02:07 am Thanks bjones..I'm not too familiar with Washingtons...is the hair weakly struck on these 76's,as is mine...seems a bit soft compared to more detail I see on other years...I buy a lot of 1975 & 76 Mint sets, to pull the T-I & T-II IKES out, and, the leftover coins are being put into rolls for now...I know they made these years with high mintages, so, not a key date, just a beautiful coin from my personal favorite year...graduated from High School...off to College that Fall, a Summer trip to Hawaii, the 76 Olympics(my hair was JUST like Bruce Jenner's!), and, the Bicentennial celebration...a GREAT year, seems like just yesterday......I'll tell a few Dorm stories later.....
