here is a 1960P lincoln. I believe it is a small date. it is actually so bright it is difficult to get focused well. anyway grade opinions are appreciated.

i have started 2 lincoln memorial sets that I would like to complete from circulation for my two inherited grandsons. I dont know if this should even be considered to go into one of these sets.

any grade opinions are appreciated. thanks.

The coin is obviously a proof and should thus not really be included in a circulated coin folder. It's also clearly a large date. As far as grade, I'd say PR65RD cameo. If you put that coin in a whitman coin folder it will likely be worth about as much as the whole rest of the folder combined...and it will tarnish and lose value.

i really wouldn't no how to tell if a coin is a proof - if it isn't in a proof set package, or a TPG slab. I have owned this coin since some time prior to 1970. it has been in a mylar flip, stored in a box since then. any idea as to value? thanks.

Well, the pics can be deceiving, but I believe it shows the brilliance only a proof of this era would have. Actually, it's value at PF65 or MS65 happens to be about the same, at about $15 retail. If the coin manages to grade 66 its probably about $30. I doubt it would grade less. A coin of this quality should belong in an album, slab, or an air tight.....maybe a flip is acceptable if the coin is otherwise housed well in a good low humidity environment. I guess it has survived this long. It should not go in a folder.

Proof Large Date, too much glare to give a precise grade. It appears to have at least one carbon spot, left side of the reverse next to the rim.
