Makes me think that buying window is indeed gonna stay open for a bit, perhaps until the new year begins, and if that is indeed the case, it will give me the time I need to churn something together, lol....

Staying idle, or up or down by Christmas, any thoughts?

I just need to find ways of saving money, like that guy on the Geico commercial who trains the gerbels to row a boat, hence powering a turbine which powers his computer....

He said it took him eight months to teach the chubby one to say row, rof....

That commercial is funny as hell. I am buying as much as possible I think we will be in the upper 30's by year end.

Yes TBK, upper 30's, like 38 sounds about right, we will see...

That commercial is hilarious for those of you have not seen yet. Something about that little guy with the microphone saying...."Row! Row! Row!", that just kills me....

Couldn't agree with you more, everyone in here laughs when it comes on. I'm hoping it stays low. I've been buying, but I'll be bargain hunting come coin show time in November.

I honestly don't see it topping $50 this year, but it might hit $40 again. Of course it also might hang around in the $20s too.

Who knows what it will do. How lucky have you all been with price and availability? Just wondering. Also I wonder what the re pricing on the Mint site will be and when. I did pick up a few silver proof sets when those prices were similar to junk silver over the summer. Thought at least if prices go down I pd the junk price and maybe having the proofs would hold value

Nobody. Anyone who knew would NOT be talking about it. They'd be WAY to busy making a fortune from it.

My guess is similar to what others are saying... probably $38-40 per oz. by year end. 2012 could be pretty wild and woolly, though.
