(If it starts one of those PITA text "movies", try going somewhere else, then "cancel" to get text)

The world isn't hanging by a thread, some brain strain will come up with a solution to all the problems.

Heh heh... would that be some of the same brainiacs who got us into this mess in the first place?

Heck in a hand basket eh boys....

You know, I consider myself extremely lucky to have born in a perfect window of peace, so to speak. As I was born in 1974 post Vietnam war, have not seen any major conflicts in my lifetime, major as to say desperate enough times to in-list a draft. Towers have fell, tyrants chased to the ends of the Earth for many years, etc., but yet in the bigger picture living in a true safe haven thanks in part to our soldiers IMO, not the politicians who place them around the globe....

But alas, that window of peace may be shutting fast. Soon the US will not be able to fund the over sea policing of the world which we have done for so many decades now. And what does that mean when we pull back and start fending for ourselves, that the rats will come back out of the cracks....

The lucky ones who make it 75 years on average, without seeing a major conflict in ways that totally change every aspect of their lives and pass in their sleep, are truly blessed, and are far and few between....

Rats like North Korea perhaps, could team up with some other usual suspects and invade South Korea when things get real bad. I think that will lead to more worldly upheaval, such as a hand full of middle eastern country's who will then attack Israel perhaps.....

I personally have flat feet, (lover not a fighter, lol), near sighted, clumsy, you name it. I can juggle like a clown from the circus, via hand eye coordination from being a goalie, but never really an athlete by any stretch of the imagination, and at age 37 and my last fight taking place in 7th grade, I don't think I will be much help in major war times. And lets pray it does not lead to that, but if history is again an indicator, it will happen again, and probably sooner than later....

Interesting to say as well that the writer speaks in terms of being tired of the fear mongers and everything will be just fine, because we are INNOVATORS. But unfortunately those true world changing individuals are again far and few between, and we just lost one of the best, RIP Steve Jobs....
