Hi Everyone, Couldnt sleep last night and I have been browsing and found other coin related sites. A member started a posting theme and I thought it was quite interesting and kinda fun so I'd like to try it here. FOLLOW THE LEADER PICTURE POSTFor those who post to this thread make sure you follow the previous poster. this way it stays on track Here's how it should go. To start the post rolling, I'll post a 1930 ' Buffalo nickel' * Next post should be ANOTHER Buffalo nickel ( any date) or A DIFFERENT COIN WITH ( SAME) mint date [1930]. Let's say someone follows my post with another ( BUFFALO NICKEL) in any date [eg. 1938] but not the same as previous post ( not 1930). OR instead of Buffalo nickel someone post... lets say a ( Lincoln Cent) ( same date as previous post) [ 1930]. In other words if you post the same coin as the previous poster it must be a different mint date. Posting a different coin of the previous poster should be SAME mint date as previous poster * PLEASE IDENTFY COIN YOU POST FOR THOSE OF US WHO ARE NEW TO COLLECTING AND NOT FAMILIAR WITH ALL.Back by request. ENJOY AND LET'S HAVE SOME FUN. ! ! ! UPDATE ! ! ! I HAVE COMMUNICATED WITH BOTH SUSAN AND BOBBY ON THIS AND THEY BOTH APPROVED OF MY IDEA.SINCE MY POST SEEMS NOT TO GENERATE MUCH INTEREST I HAVE DECIDED TO ADD A LITTLE SOMETHING.
AN 'AFTER THE HOLIDAY' GIVEAWAY WILL BE OFFERED.
ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS POST A COIN ( I AM LOOKING FOR ONE (1) PARTICULAR COIN). THE FIRST ONE TO POST THIS COIN WILL BE REWARDED. AND SENT AFTER THE HOLIDAY'S. YOU MAY POST AS MANY AS YOU WISH....SEPARATELY. * * YOU MUST ALSO FOLLOW THE RULES AS STATED IN THE BEGINNING OF THIS POST. LET'S BEGIN !!! 1930 Buffalo Nickel Next coin must be Buffalo nickel DIFFERENT date or Any other coin with SAME date.Edited by Mila_cent 01/02/2007 11:19 pm

1923 Standing Liberty quarter..... Can we do Darkside? That makes it a lot easier for our overseas friends to participate. They just have to promise to include the name of the country when they post a coin for the Darkside challenged.

It can be ANY coin as long as you Identify what the coin is (called) [ Liberty nickel, Kennedy, Walking Liberty, etc. ] I and maybe other members may not recognize some or all. Please go back and identify your coin.

Thank you scoutjim. I couldn't sleep and was searching , found a site that was doing the same and I found it to be interesting and fun. So I thought I'd give it a try here. Darkside? I don't know about Darkside. Which is why I asked to identify coins posted. There are many (I'm sure) I won't recongnize and would like to get famillar with.

Ok, this is a 1923 coin so joins on to the thread. From "States of Jersey" "one twelveth of a shilling" "1923" Can people join in more than once?
