Hi I just paid for a 1878 Trade dollar on ebay, but the seller is now saying he thinks it might be a fake. I was wondering if someone can tell me based on the pictures if you think it is real or not.

Looks cast to me.
The rims looks wrong and the blocks she's sitting on lack definition.
Check out some real one's on pgcs/photograde and see for yourself.
I'm no expert with these but I wouldn't buy one that was raw due to their propensity to be fake.
