I know this thread is old but it is still relevant in some ways...I continue to watch 64 Kennedy's and the SMS coins and continue to learn information on them. As a spoof , I did a search on the Bay this morning...I was surprised to see what I did...

1st search

http://www.ebay.com/sch/sis.html?_n...047675.m4096

2nd Search (sold units)

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odk...edy&_sacat=0

Now what is neat is they bring only a small premium at this time, and I think the thread has the details as to why. I think they are more common than AH, yet much less common than 'regular'. I am sticking with the 200k number.

What has changed is this...

1964-'Accented-Hair's-Little-Brother'---T2o-T1R

Or so I thought until I see how the "Transitional Type One Reverse" was added. So today it seems that only ANACS will attribute this variety. Still I was excited for a minute when I saw this....especially at $149 but then the sold piles are not so nice..

Sorry for dragging up an old thread but as a Kennedy Collector "Accented Hair's Little Brother" still has a special place in my book.

Good Day...

Esinger, I was watching a transitional die from this morning. (Cam 68) Then I read your whole thread pages 1-4. Nearing the end, I thought nah I should pass. Then I saw you actually posted an image of the exact coin I was considering. I bought it! What the heck small premium. Besides, the careful self attribute in blue was a deal maker. Really enjoyed your thread.

I read this thread and went through my 64 proof sets and found two with the straight g's. What should I do with them

I do realize this is an old thread but for the sake of knowing, I have five 1964 P Kennedy halves that are ODV-002 RDV-001. I believe these are the halves being referred to as the "Little Brother".

Seems the Little Brother is holding up well. I just saw this and thought what the heck, would see if any thoughts had changed.

1964 PCGS Proof 68 Cameo Silver Kennedy half, PR 68 Cam, Straight G Reverse
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-PCGS-...AOSw3OhcvlXm

Of course it is PR68CAM which makes for a $$ anyway but still nonetheless, it is differentiated as 'Straight G Reverse' and we all know that is Accented Hair's Little Brother....

I know this is an old thread but I have not really had time for coins the last 18 months. I decided to take my coffee and see what was on the Bay. Low and behold, this little guy is still rolling along and demanding a premium. I just think it is cool, maybe someday I will have time to do an update but for now, it is just neat.

Edit : Here is a few on the bay, some over $100

Definitely gets it's own label now...

I have 17 of the 1964 D Kennedy halves with the RDV-001. Nine to be found on ebay. Wonder what kind of premium for one of those?

I am not sure, I am only really familiar with the Proof one...

Since the Accented Hair was only Proof, of course the little brother would follow along..

Maybe a deep look around this site can help you:

I have looked at that several times. I have no proofs with the RDV-001 only P and D business strikes with the RDV-001.
