... but my favorite series to actively collect would have to be the Eisenhower dollar.
I approve, of course.

My favourite coin is the Portugal 50 Centavos KM#577. The series runs from 1927 to 1968. I have the full set.

Rolls of red, lusterous Lincoln Memorial Cents (1959-2008). In my sleep I collect Double Eagles.

Thank you Scott, I think so too, that's why I collected them all. :)

My interest are very diverse, everything from U.S. coins and medals, to world currencies. My latest venture is having a complete MS69 set of Heraldic Art Medals.

Good question!

I have a few that top the list, but the Mercury dime is my favorite.

I like Wheaties. I don't money to "collect" (read buy) specific designs, per se. I like Wheaties because they're available in change for free.

Of course, they don't come around much any more, but when they do, I get a little jolt of joy. Makes me feel like I'm a kid again, when Wheaties were more common.

All coppers! Old or new, still love those wheats and large cents!

I actively collect both Lincoln cents and Jefferson nickels at about the same rate. My 1909-present Lincoln Cent date/mint set is coming along nicely, with only 41 more slots to fill!

I'm getting pretty close to finishing my set of Jefferson's 1938-present. Except for a few, they have all been plucked from bank rolls.

If I had a bit more money I would probably go for a complete set of Buffalo nickels, but alas, my bank account tells me I can't.

I like New Zealand pennies, I find them fairly often metal detecting. They are a big bronze coin with one of our native birds on them, quite common but I love them all the same. I have somewhere north of 200 of them now

All half dollars, Morgan dollars and Mercury dimes, would be my top three, but I am always pulling out copper pennies too.

I like Buffalo nickels and Texas Centennial Half Dollars. I'm a sucker for both series.
