if it is a mint proof set and there is no "S" mint mark... why on earth would you send it back?

I thought the depiction of John F Kennedy was interesting - my overall impression was one of sadness - which is perhaps appropriate. I did see that it was based on his presidential portrait:
President John F. Kennedy's official portrait was painted posthumously by Aaron Shikler by request of Jacqueline Kennedy. It is generally analyzed as a character study. Unlike most presidential portraits, Kennedy's depicts the president as pensive, with eyes downcast and arms folded. Shikler wished not to paint the eyes of a dead man[citation needed], thus the portrait features JFK with his eyes downcast. Shikler also painted the official White House portraits of first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and the Kennedy children.

The best coin in that set is in the upper right corner of the third photo.

I got my clad Set today. Love the Mohawk Native Dollar! The new JFK obverse is a nice improvement, but it appears to be a lower relief than the special 2014 JFK Set coins.

I actually received my replacement proof sets today (the April 1 post was just a joke). I ordered five proof sets figuring four might be good. Three of them are good, but two have issues with the Presidential dollars. Clearly people are not looking at these sets prior to putting them in the box. No problem though. I'll return the two on their dime and will order another the next time I place an order. The replacement proof 2014 ASE and proof 2015 ASE that I ordered are both good. I also ordered an unc 2015-W ASE which looks good as well.

I'm still coinsidering (ahem) returning my sets. Both have issues with the Kennedy halves. What's the time limit for returns? And how do you do it if your product was part of a multi-product order?

Not sure what the time limit is, but within 30 days seems reasonable. Just give them a call and request a return label. Whether it's part of a multi-product order doesn't matter. A normal company would fix the issues that are causing quality related returns. However, we're dealing with the government here. Regardless, I figure that I'm paying a high premium for high quality coins, so that's what I expect. Five years from now you probably won't remember going through the slight hassle of returning and ordering replacement sets. If you don't, you'll be reminded every time you look at the Kennedy halves.

CelticKnot: With the new website, you can sign in, go to your order record, click on your order and at the lower right hand corner, there is a button you can click to request a RMA for return. They will process electronically and send you a label to send the product back. However, you have to keep track of the package to make sure they follow through and send you the replacement package or refund.
I did the return in early Late December/early January and the coins were delivered on Jan 8. I still haven't get my refund yet, so I called last week and the guy put in a ticket request with the credit department. If I don't see anything in a day or two, I will have to call in again to get them to refund me the money. Hopefully they don't have the same problem now.
Good luck.
I'll be placing my bulk order soon. I guess I have to check my sets when they arrived. I usually don't.

okay, so I learned something new and helpful here. My mint set came in today, after looking at them, several coins had 'defects', marks or scratches. Really surprised there are so many bad ones. So I got online with the mint and told them I wanted to return them for replacement and asked for a return shipping label. Okay, this is the good part. In the past, whenever I returned something, I ALWAYS paid the shipping myself. It was in this thread they I found out, the mint would do it. I got and printed a prepaid shipping label... THANKS GUYS!!
