Nice job! Congrats on a job well done. Do you think you will ever try upgrading any of the coins in the future, or are you ready to move on to your next achievement? I "finished" my 7070 album years ago and have continued to work on it ever since as time and money permits.

Great job~!! Every time I see one of these post with completed sets makes me want to get working on mine again. I admire those that "finish" theirs... even if you do keep working on them long after that.

ArrowsAndRays -- the last hole was the Coronet Half Cent. But the order meant very little. 1964 JFK and silver Roosevelt were among the last, and those are just common circulated silver. The reality is that examples of these coins are all readily available, at least in the condition I was looking for. Some just cost more than others. I believe that specialists get more thrill of the hunt than type collectors since there tend to be more rarities necessary to complete a set.

Congrats! I'm going to have to complete my set. I'm only a few coins away, mostly the Barber coins since they are hard to find attractive. Which slots gave you the most trouble in acquiring an example you liked?

Yes, Barber! Half in particular. I have a fundamental aversion to spending much on that coin, and it takes a relatively high grade to get a full LIBERTY on that one. So basically you have to spend more than you want to get a higher grade coin to get a better view of an unattractive design :D

I've been looking at Barber halves in AU and it is going to be one of my more expensive slots when I find one I like. Only exceeded by the Seated dollars, Capped Bust quarter, & Classic Head Large Cent if my pricing expectations hold true.

76 coins in the book, and those two SLDs were 25% of the total cost.

I believe it. That is one reason why I have not filled those holes yet.
