That is a sharp RPM Quote: I see it at AU-58 as well. That gash in the field keeps it from MS and may knock it to AU55 The one over the eye is more noticeable.

Answer is no, not going to touch this thing with chemicals or otherwise. Too nice and too expensive for that kind of thing.
I put it at AU based on the light wear on the high points. Couple of light bag marks don't seem to be enough to knock it to 55, but I am by no means a grading expert.

It shows very strong, clear Wexler stage A die markers. I can't figure out the stages based on the VV images, but yes it's EDS.

Another great one. Just wanted to know what you use for the red background? I like it. I usually use gray. Thanks. John1

Very nice trade for both of you, TB.
And I agree with you about the grade and bag marks not really affecting the grade. The slight wear will come into play of course but could be attributed to album wear on a good day like you said.

Thanks so much for all the kind words and great comments! And John, the red is an easy one. I have a pad of post-it notes in a very pleasant red color that I like, and just use one of them for the background. When it gets a little scuffed from putting coins on it I just retire it and pull off another. Very simple solution to how to do a background color you like.

I have got to put up a thread on the photography, as I've answered this before a number of times but always buried in replies to something and not so easy to reference... The full coin shots are taken with a Canon S95 set on P and zoomed in two clicks from almost, but not quite directly above. The light is a 60W Type A halogen clear bulb (not frosted) set about 12 inches above and slightly behind the stage. The macro shots are taken with an AmScope trinocular stereoscope usually just by pointing an iPhone down one of the eyepieces although I will use the onboard camera sometimes and especially if I need a full frame mint mark shot. Lighting on the scope is a halogen with a ring diffuser set directly behind the stage which spins to get whatever light angle I need. I often use a bit of mylar or a double-folded paper towel as a diffuser between the light and coin when the scope's light is doing too much glare. Cheers!
